Yeah, she's a beaut- white, with the flip-up lamp covers, moonroof, luggage rack, cruise, tilt wheel, alloy rims...

Rust in the doors, wheel arches, and sunroof have been the only problems; the rest of the car still shines great, and I'm only at 77,000 miles. It'll be hard to let go of her when the WRX gets here.

*Sigh*, you never forget your first car...

I have a 98 Legacy GT. I'm going to be getting an Impreza this year, trying to figure out if I can bear to be seen in the Cosworth Neon... If not I'll just get a 2001 RS...

Hey Eugene! Are you a member of the "Celica Files" web site? I used to hang out there. I almost bought a Celica. Literally, I had money on the table, but luckily(for me) the deal fell through. I like the car but I need AWD for Tahoe

Cool

Eugene, I'm driving a MY00 Impreza RS 2.5. I love this car. Despite what some say, I love the look of the new Celica. I wish they would do an all-trac version. That would be awesome. I used to be a toyota man because they were so rock solidly built. I was dissapointed when they took out the twin tip rear exhause that sat squarely in the middle on the prototype celica car. That was cool!

HomerJay - Thats cool.. yeah i like the impreza myself.. they should come out with the WRX with the current look.. Everyone doesn't like the new look but i guess Subaru thought it was time for a whole new design change.. since every other company was doing so.. I cant wait to see it in person.. I guess it all depends on taste.. It's gonna be hard for people to get use to it because they're use to seeing the current design.. we'll just have to wait and see...

Catfish - Nice Z man.. 1 of my friends have a 280z and the other a 280zx.. they still seem to run good.. you hear about Nissan making a new Z with skyline engine or something liket hat.. supposedly to be releaesed like 2002 or somehting.. and toyota dealer told me the supra is coming back 2002 as well.. i guess the Impreza WRX wont be the only turbo when it comes out... Now wheres Mitsubishi with the LANCER EVO!!

I'll be the owner of a '97 Eclipse GSX in about a month or so unless Mike Jerry wants to deal on his 99 Turbo RS for sale ;-)

I own an Impreza and a Datsun, does that make me a Non-Impreza owner and an Impreza owner?

Here's a pic of my other ride, aka summer car, weekend warrior, etc...

Red cars PWN me

Have a Nice Day?

While we're all coming out, I just recently sold the closest thing I had to a WRX. A 1988 All-Trac Turbo, this thing was COOL . Really pushed me over the edge into getting an AWD turbo car. I had SOOO much fun in that thing.

Anyways, I currently drive a 92 GS-R with an ITR engine transplant.

Angry

It's a shame Toyota isn't doing the all-trac anymore. They have such a rich heritage of awd cars(not trucks) and rally racing. Instead they chose to pump out 5 SUV's Yikes. I think they are right up there with Ford in the number of SUV's.

Catfish-
Your 240Z is legit. That is one of the coolest cars ever made. I'm drooling over that picture.

Gearhead-
I agree that love for non-mainstream cars is a commom theme here. There is something neat about driving around and never seeing your car (I know, I drive a VW Corrado and an old Volvo 145). Same thing with RS's. I live in a large northern US metro area, and I still barely see any RS's. Makes me want one even more.
