MY00 or MY01?!?!

I am planning on getting a MY00 4-door BRP. What are they going to do with the MY01? Are they going to have the same colors? What kind of differences are there? (body, price, features) I want to get it within 2 months but if the my01 cost more I will try and order it sooner.

Noone has a single clue so don't expect any real specific answers as of yet. Sorry... we're all speculating and hoping and Subaru is sitting there sticking their tongue out at us since they're not going to say til it is finally released. *shrug*

I need to know so I can put my car up for sale and put a down payment to get my car on it's way to the dealership. For the people who have ordered their cars, Did you have to give them, a full down payment or a partial one? If you had yours ordered, could you list how much you put down, how many doors and color, and how long it took to get it. Anyone know the last day you can order a MY00?

I only had to put 500 down to get the car ordered. I got a BRP Coupe. It took about 7 weeks till it came in. No idea when the deadline is to order a MY00. Call a local dealer on that one.

I put $3500 down and plan to double that. (low monthly payment = more goodies to add to the car)

. They normally want some cash down before u order it and you can give them the rest when it gets there. They said it would take 5 to 6 weeks, however; it looks like it's going to be over 8 weeks. now they say May 26th. They don't know if thats a ship by date or a built by date. (what do they know

Anyway I got a Red 4 door w/ diff protector, air filtration, and performance gauges. I can't wait till it gets here, so i can slap on my stromung

I was happy to just walk in, hand them $4,300 and pick my RS off the lot that same day - white or red were my two choices, red was scratched so I took white.

No 7 week wait or ordering. All the options were perfect. No regrets with the white car.

I too walking right into the dealer and purchased my 2000 BRP RS Coupe.

I found it by checking the Subaru Web site...in the dealer search.No hassle......it only cost me 2.5% over Dealer invoice. The car had only 6-miles on it when I picked it up the next day.

I think the 2001 will have no significant changes.....(if there is going to be a 2001) I think the 2002 will be the new body style and the TURBO!!!

I asked my dealer today about any new info....none available...just that they are bringing the Impreza turbo for a 2002 model...basically the same info we all know.
