Legacy F/S: 1991 Subaru Legacy Sport Sedan (Turbo)

1991 Subaru Legacy Sport Sedan (Turbo)

136,000 miles, Automatic, Cold A/C (R134a Conversion), ABS, AWD, Power everything, Cruise Control, 40/60 split folding rear seat, Viper Alarm with engine kill & power locks. Very reliable, I drive this thing to work 3 to 4 days out of the week. I've owned it since November '03 and it's received all the following new parts since:
Reman. Tranny (2yr, 24,000 mile warranty - SoA)
New Tranny Mounts*
New External Tranny Filter*
New Starter (Lifetime Warranty - AutoZone)
New Front brake pads & rotors - SoA
New Front Half-Shaft (Lifetime Warranty - AutoZone)
New Aiwa AM/FM CD Stereo
New Water Pump, Timing Belt, timing covers, cam seals, idle tensioners, radiator hoses*
New rear left CV boot and wheel bearing*
New Rear suspension bushings (sway bar mounts, end link bushings, rear inner & outer lateral link)
New KYB-GR2 Struts
New Power Antennae Mast
New Intake Hoses
New Turbo Hoses
New EGR/PVC/Vacuum Hoses
New Green Performance Air Filter
New Oil Cooler Seal
New front coolant lines
New Heater Hoses
New Fuel Filter (Purolator), spark plugs (NGK), PCV (Purolator), Plug Wires (SoA)
New Windshield
New Sunroof Seal
New Wiper Blades
New Header Gaskets, Up-pipe Gaskets, Down-pipe gaskets
New End Links
New Exide Battery
New Dash Light bulbs (all work!)
New Headlight Bulbs (Sylvania X-traVision)
All Fluids; Brake, Oil, Differentials, tranny, coolant have been changed.
(* All work done by the local Subaru dealership, warranted for 12 months/12,000 miles)

I've also replaced the following with used or take-off parts:
Alternator
Power Steering Pump
WRX Header
WRX Front Strut Mounts
2.5RS Rear Strut Mounts
2.5RS Rear Spring Perches
2.5RS Springs
Oil Pan
Wiper Arms
Misc. Interior trim (Interior is complete)
Leather steering wheel, shift knob & parking brake handle
headlights
drivers side front fender (previous fender was rusted)
trunk latch
A/C vent control motor
Trunk light
Trunk light switch

I've invested over $5500 so far (not including the purchase price) getting this car back in great shape. Interior, Exterior and engine have been scrubbed clean. Every concern has been addressed, every accessory works. This car just needs some loving paint and bodywork to be mint. It's reliable, It's fun, it's fast and it just takes to much time away from my RS and I really donít need 3 cars!
Asking $4,000.00 O.B.O.
Pics & timeline here: http://home.earthlink.net/~opiewho1/LS.htm

P.S. The wheels in the pictures are not included; it will be sold with the stock 15" alloy wheels (Here's a pic!) & brand new tires (stock, Bridgestone RE92 - 195/60R15 Size).

Post questions here, use the E-mail or PM buttons below if interested.
Thanks!

Yes... I've come to the conclusion that one of my toys must go...and I just like the RS more.

Those intercooler pipes are the bomb, I'll still be in on those if my set is already in the works. Worst case I'll e-bay them with the intercooler as a complete Legacy Turbo Intercooler kit!

I won't leave you or the Legacy central guys hanging.

I've posted it on at least 7 forums...including Zate's.

I will consider pulling the motor and parting it out if it doesn't sell, the car is just so complete...it seems a shame to do that...

Sorry to see you let go of the Legacy, but at least I got a ride in it!

With a nice paint job this car could be a really sweet daily driver!

***???

Dude, that's just plain cruel. Can't you just hold on to it for a *little* while longer so I can get back on my feet? If it weren't for two layoffs in five months, I'd be all over that car.

damn that is a nice ride opie. If I had the cash I would take it off your hands for a daily driver then go all out on the RS. Bump for the big O.

What kind of racks could you put on that thing? It would be a sweet ride for someone around here.

Will, can I get your "consent" to print that page and post it around NOC? I'll probably drop it into a word file and add the price.

Gluck on the sale. I just found a 2.2L EJ22T short block that I'm buying this week. That's the next project for the WRX.
