Question Legacy 2.0 Turbo ?

If the Impreza Turbo is coming to the US, will there be a Legacy GT turbo?

One could only hope!!! As of yet, I heard of no plans for the 2.0T in the GT. Maybe the GT will get the 6cyl...

Thumbs up

Yes!!-- Please Subaru, put the turbo or the H6 into the GT and my $25k will be all yours!

If not then maybe a good turbo for the 2.5? -But I doubt it...

The 2.0 turbo in the legacy would probably be a little more than 25k. Anyway, I wan't to know if the twin turbo that is fitted or going to be fitted to some of the 2.0l forign performance legacy's will fit on the 2.0l impreza that we get next year.

Question

Didn't the old ('95-99) Legacies also have 2.0 twin turbos overseas? Those never made it here. :-(

It seems possible. I drive a '91 Leagcy Turbo now with the 2.2 engine. It is a great car and has 135,000 miles on it with no turbo problems.

If Subaru mimics Audi, it could happen. Look at the S4 and A6. The S4 is the smaller car with performance features including the turbo engine. The A6 is more of a luxury sedan and includes a turbo engine option. Subaru could duplicate that arragement with the Impreza WRX and the Legacy with turbo engine as an option.
