Default Exhaust setup

I've been looking for an exhaust for awhile. I posted in the general forums asking for something relatively quiet, with cat(s) and a relatively small tip ...

The easiest route seems to be ordering the cobbtuning stage II (TBE + accessPORT) + helix flex uppipe.

This should be the extent of my engine mods. I doubt I'll be doing anything more. Any comments on this? Is there a better route to go?

I've got all my order information in and I'm itching to click 'submit' .

The Cobb tubo back exhaust is the one I want. Keep in mind they're sold out of downpipes so it could be a while before you can get one.
I've got my AccessPort on order and will have to live with the stage 1 setup until they get geared up with their downpipes.
Not sure if there's much difference between up-pipe brands other than the flex/ non flex versions. I've been running the Vishnu 304 one for almost 3 years now without any problems.

Hey guys,

Does Cobb ship to Canada? How will you guys be receiving the TBE and/or AccessPort?

I'm actually interested in the AccessPort Purchase. Need to get something together by end of this month, otherwise we lose the $40 discount .

Any one else interested buying the Access Port?
If so, I'd like to contact the guys at Cobb to see if they are interested in doing a group buy for the AccessPort.

thx.
Cheers,
YVR

Cobb definitely ships to Canada and their shipping and turn around time seem to be pretty good. Of course provided they have what you want in stock or produced.

You can give it a shot. Considering that they're backordered on downpipes and accessPORTs, I don't know how much priority they'd give to a group buy.

What TBE are you setting up?

I've already got mine on order so count me out. I really don't think they'd be too interested in giving any sort of discount for a group buy. If you order before April 1st you get a $40 discount. They're so far behind due to the demand trying to get a group buy would pretty much be pointless right now. Wait 6 months and the demand will probably have died down a bit.

I emailed Cobb and he told me that he's not interested in a group buy due to the huge demand that they're already getting with the Access Port. Too bad, but I thought it would be worth a shot at least to see what their thoughts were on this......

Thx.

Thanks for your diligence. I'm ordering my package as soon as I decide there REALLY aren't any better options out there.

I'm looking at the prodrive axleback + TurboXS stealthback. That's been recommended by a few people.

Well I have a computer (laptop or xpc) I can throw at the task, I just need the serial interface to connect me to the car, and the loader software + maps..

So I am definately looking for the best alternative..
