Post Who bought OEM mud flaps?

Okay, I need mud flaps for my RS. I'm sure you all know how you get streeks of dirtwater on the door from the front wheels. I've been told that they don't fit on the front (crappy), but they do fit on the back. If you have cut them, or changed them to fit the front, please post and let me know how. Also, if you've only put them on the rear (since that's all the fit on), and you just have the others sitting around, could I have/buy them from you? Thanks-

~Eric

The only OEM mudflaps that I know of that will fit are for the turbo model Imprezas. I ordered a set from Graham Goode. Total for front, rear, & shipping to Texas was approximately $150. The rears fit perfectly. The fronts fit pretty good, but there is a slight gap between the body and the surface that follows the body contour (1/8" to 1/4"). The gap is there whether or not I add washers as spacers on the middle bolt. The installation was a snap too. I used a screwdriver to "unlock" two of the fasteners. The middle fastener has no screw slots. But, if you push on the center part of it, it will pop in, allowing you to pull the fastener out. No drilling necessary. Pretty slick looking!! Good luck!

I have the fronts from Graham goode and they are as Adam described. I will sell them for what I paid $90. If you are interested, please e-mail me.

Cool

I bought the OEM flaps from the dealer for $60. The back fit perfectly, I plan on shaping the front flaps using a rotary tool. I've done that before on a Dodge (which was a lousy car).
