Unhappy wrecked legacy turbo

Well, I was searching junkyards for a wrecked Legacy Turbo to strip, but the one I found was a little too wrecked:

Any speculations as to what happened to this car?

Have a Nice Day?

Wow, it looks like it got hit with a missile. Damn, the muffler in the driver's seat...I just hope no one was in the car when it happened...

Irony : The "Don't Hit Me" reflectors in the trunk.

What is interesting is that all the damage is done to one side, pretty much. I'd say it was hit and then rolled down a hill or something. Very impressive, hope noone was in it.

Ridin,
I found a used legacy turbo, $250 shipped. I forgot where, but it was some online junkyard search site. Tomorrow I can forward the email to you.

I think the muffler was put in the car after the fact. I've been looking thru a bunch of wrecked car pics, & they tend to toss everything that fell off the car into whatever's left of the passenger compartment.

Is $250 good for that particular turbo if it's in decent condition?

Maybe you guys have seen this before, but if not take a look. These pics will make you think twice about speeding.

Sorry to be semi-morbid. What year is it? Do you think you could get some small parts off of it for me? If they're intact I could use the door speaker grills.

John, there were much better (less wrecked) Legacies available. www.copartfinder.com.
