PRODUCT INFO: (DEFI BF SERIES)

Defi-Link Meter BFs are electronic blacked out gauges which are high response and refined design. When the car is off they have a black face with no numbers on them. As soon as the car is turned on, the gauges light up and are in full affect.

Defi-Link Meter BFs need to be connected to Defi-Link Control Unit II. Up to 6 gauges can be connected and controlled by one Control Unit II. The name of the connection system is "Defi-Link System." Defi-Link System allows gauges to be attached to Defi-Link Control Unit II with a single "DAISY CHAIN" wiring system.

Defi-Link Meters need to be connected to Defi-Link Control Unit II. Up to 7 gauges can be connected and controlled by one Control Unit II. The name of the connection system is "Defi-Link System."
Defi-Link System allows gauges to be attached to Defi-Link Control Unit II with a single "DAISY CHAIN" wiring system.

Each gauge has two LEDs. One LED illuminates when the gauge pointer exceeds a warning value which is discretionary with the Control Unit II. The other LED illuminates when the gauge pointer exceeds a past maximum value.

> Gorgeous Opening mode:
During the opening mode, wire disconnections, short circuits, and serial errors are checked automatically. When errors are found, LEDs light up in order.

>Driving data can be stored and can be replayed up to 3 minutes.(*1)

> Quick Response. Gauges pointers driven by stepping motor have a smooth instantaneous response to rapid acceleration of high performance vehicles.

> High accuracy and light weight. Maximum angle of deflective, 270 degrees is controlled by the microcomputer up to 2,300 times to provide high precision in the accuracy of information generated.

> Freedom of installation(Except Boost Gauge). There is no "dumping of oil." The meter can be installed at any angle.
Attractive design

>LED Lamps. The light is produced from high intense LED lamps. A bright transparent amber gauge dial and a red instrument pointer are used in the gauges to increase visibility at night and low-light applications.

> Black bezel with red arrow. Bezel has a RED arrow and can be rotated by finger sand thumb, so that you can indicate your critical point, where you want.

> Removable Back Bezel. The black bezel is removable, so you can choose either black bezel or aluminum bezel.

PRODUCT INFO: (VSD Concept)

VSD is a product to display the vehicle information on the windshield by reflection. The projection technology is called "Head Up Display(HUD)." HUD allows drivers to keep line of sight forward as shown in the figure below and recognize the image(speed and/or other information) projected on the windshield efficiently and quickly. The HUD technology is often found in cockpits of jets, helicopters and tanks.

VSD original technology focusing on compactness and universality utilizing the HUD technology. By installing it, drivers can view the information on the vehicle's windshield without looking at dashboard instruments.

PRODUCT INFO: (DEFI Link Display)

The display uses OLED(organic light emitting diode). OLED is an advanced display which is self light emissive, high contrast, high response, low power consumptive, and large view angle. It uses optimal technology for instant readability without afterimages of flicker even when seen from the passenger's seat.
Real-time digital information includes speed, oil temperature, water temperature, oil pressure, fuel pressure and exhaust temperature.
When the RPM signal wire is connected to Defi-Link Control Unit II or Defi-Link Control Unit, 2 warning levels can be set in addition to the warning setting made by Control Unit II or Control Unit, enabling the setting of a total of 3 warning levels(Tachometer Triple Warning Mode).
When the water temperature sensor is connected, the warm-up condition can be monitored.
A graphic animation plays after the ignition is turned on or off(Opening Mode/Ending Mode).
An easily recognizable graphic on each setting screen helps guide easy setting of warnings for Defi-Link Meters and Step Graph(Setting Assistance function).
The Warning LED lights when the set warning value is exceeded for oil temperature, water temperature, exhaust temperature and engine RPM. The Warning LED lights when measured value drops below the set warning value for oil pressure and fuel pressure.
Trouble locations are shown by graphics so that connection problems can be quickly corrected(Self-Diagnosis function).
The structure of the mounting base allows height and angle adjustment so that it can match the shape of the instrument panel.
The Defi-Link Indicator(sold separately) can be connected to the display.

Do you have the oil temp sensor adaptor (for BF gauge) for the 04 WRX? It's the donute thingy that goes between the oil pan and oil filter and the oil temp sensor goes into it. If so I'll buy one.

I'll be getting a Oil temp gauge and fuel pres. gauge soon. How long is the sale?

its a sandwich, not a donut

.. the defi one has 2 holes on it .. if just using temp you will need to plug one .. i have one installed on my defi setup ..

ronaldwrx you are correct. For the oil temp, it's a sandwich type of adaptor. You usually put in on the oil pan. The adaptor that we are giving out for free is for the Oil pressure. That adaptor goes into the block of the engine.
