Default spoke to newark cop

was eating lunch today at a deli in ironbound, police officer came in after me and started to talk to me about my car, then proceeded to talk about how he can't believe how many of them are getting stolen in this area and in the rutgers area. so i guess the word is defintely out, so that is good

you know what'''''''''s sad that with all this theft thats going on in n.j. with the wrx and sti is how many rexs i see with no real security systems or locks just parked in the streets.some times i see the owner and i tell them your crazy you got to do something about the security of there car.thay usally say that there trying to get to it, by that time it's too late!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rex wagon stolen and totalled - while the components for fuel kill were sitting on desk - can't get to it soon enough. These guys work overtime with as much area as they cover finding WRX and STi's.

They are being stolen from areas around newark to watchung. Just be careful where you go with the car...

Guys, your car is not safe in any area. Take every possible precaution to make it as difficult as possible for these scumbags to steal your car.

Do not be lulled into a false sense of security because of where you live, drive or park.
