I'll put my $.02 in before this is closed. It's your personal choice if you want rice but street seems to be "cool" and touring seems more "classy" It depends what kind of image you want your car to have. I personally would go touring. Have a sleeper car that won't attract thieves like flies on $hit.

arrrrgh..Chase, can't you wait until you actually HAVE a car!?!? And when you do get a car, it's your car, not ours. Do whatever you feel like doing, you'll learn sooner or later what you want.

Rob... do i sense... some frustration?
I kinda agree with Robert on this one, you sound like a kid with a xmas list Trust me on this one, when you get the car you will know exactly what to do with it. You will look at it and say: Wow, this car is sexier than Jennifer Lopez in that green Versace dress and a victoria's secret catalog put together. Maybe I can hold of of the mods for a while and just truly enjoy the natural shape of the car (no I am not watching porn right now). Nick - Full of answers, but answers little. |

I have given it some long thought I decided I have two options touring or street. and by street I mean rice. witho touring I would have a touring wing and white rim2000 wheels, with street I would have a GTR wing and chrome rim2000 wheels.
right now at my website I have the strret style. www.geocities.com/subarusurfer/ I know you guys are all going to say TOURRRINNNGGG STYLLLLE!!!! but i still want your input |

Sleep your car. My wagon attracts enough people as it is, and I don't even have the fancy RS hood scoop and vents. I would definitely do all your work on suspension and spend that fu fu cash that you don't have yet on mods UNDER the hood!! In fact, you could even do like someone said earlier by swapping hoods and getting rid of your wing to further dampen the Impreza stand-out image, to make the honda eater even more sleepier and stealthy..

I say rice go with the touring style and rice get rid of rice the chrome rims rice because it just rice doesn't work for rice the Impreza very well.
The stock rims rice look great on the RS as rice far as I'm concerned, and rice all it rice really needs is rice some good rubber. BTW, anyone remember that guy on SNL that would inject subliminal aqdvertising in the middle of his sentences? Was that Kevin Nealin? Larry |

For those who are for some reason taking offense to the term 'rice' how about we all use a different term.
How about: Uncle Ben's On second thought, we wouldn't want to offend any uncles now would we... I think the ones that may be most sensitive to the term are those closest to recieving a rice citation. |

Diamond G! Rice-a-roni! Sticky rice! I like rice! It's a good source of something! I think you should get a budget planned out unless you have some large hoard of money to spend at one time on mods.

nope I don't have a hoard, but I am getting a job, the sam job my brother has who bought an ford 150 extended cab '97 v8 for about 18,500, but he didn't save money, and started working later then me, about a year. so that is the plan. and I'm gonna do it little by little,
firts rims and tires, wait 4months, then susp. wait a couple months engine, wait a couple months, body. and then rinse and repeat. |
