so I'm looking for a turbo back on for my jdm EJ20G in my GC8. I've heard the TD05's are monted differently so would a USDM turbo back work fully? since the JDM Ej20 is obd II it wont have a 2nd 02 and the usdm wrx down pipes do have a hole should that just get welded shut? I do have an sensor or an exhaust temp sensor that goes in to the jdm down pipe soo I'd have to cut a new hole for that? and I'd have to shorten the down pipe 2 inches correct? anything else? isn't there a exhaust hanger that doesnt line up or is on the other side on the GC8 body style when using usdm wrx exhaust? which one doesn't line up? that could just be cut and weld to the other side correct?
anything else need to be modifyed? I plain on having my boss do the welding

Get something custom made, you get more power...its custom, it sounds better, and looks better...and sometimes its cheaper.

The USDM exhaust will work. The difference with the TD05 isnt the exhaust mounting location, its the intake.

you could use the catback and all so long as you had a custom downpipe made that meets up with the other piping. That is probably the easiest solution.
Take it easy, Micah |

The full turbo back will bolt up and fit right from what I know, sans the one muffler hangar (that will either need to be cut off, or moved IE re-welded)
As for the extra 02 sensor hole, if you have to plug it just use an old 02 sensor, or find a bolt that will fit it. Plugging it up with a weld might not be the best idea. |

My JDM EJ20G has one 02(header) and an EGT(downpipe). The UK diagrams show only one 02 and no EGT.
I just bought a Scoobysport turboback for mine so it better fit. |
