With this content, why didn't you just DELETE it instead of leave it sit with only 'NM' as the message?

Does that make any sense to anyone? *shrug*

For your info, 8, It will not let me delete it. It says I am not a forum leader. Ok, does that make any sense? Good. I'm glad it does to somebody.

Really? yeah, really. Its not a very smart move on someones part. Oh well, I already emailed in, like an hour or so ago. Just awaiting him to do. Seeing how it will be deleted, here was the content...

Subject: Eaton-induced madness?

That's right. Currently exploring the upgrading options of a Subaru
Impreza RS 2.5 (don't laugh). Thinking about buying one and building
the equivalent of a Japan-spec WRX. Needs the upgraded suspension (fat
rear roll bar, Prodrive-tuned Bilstein/Eibach combo, forged aluminum
A-arms, and misc. chassis braces). Oh, of course, it also needs another
110hp (it comes with 165hp in stock form). Minnam is currently
engineering an intercooled turbo system that, when used with factory
turbo Impreza ECUs and boosted to 10psi, should fit the bill quite
nicely. Even considering the possibility of installing a TEC-II.
Another company is making non-intercooled 6psi Eaton sc system. They
claim 260hp. Sound familiar? Unlike Norm, they can get away with it
since you cant really strap an awd car on the Dynojet...Shiv

Cool

I got the email from a miata web site. I decided to post it to show how far things have come for Shiv, his vision, his idea, his list of needed mods for the car, and things to that nature. I thought it would be a good look back.

Then, I decided maybe it was something he would not have wanted posted.

You can leave it here, if Shiv says he does not want it posted, *I am sure he will post his concern.

Thanks,
Suby

In case anyone is wondering, Subyprez20@aol.com dug up that post from a Miata turbo mailing list. It's nearly 1.5 years old. I'm putting a padlock on my garbage can tonight

Hehe, well, I don't think it's that nosy. I think you can do a search for my name on some search engines and a bunch of the STi-MList archives come up.

Well, scratch my trying to turn the delete function back on. The server says it's on, so I dunno. I'll let Alex figure it out.

Gotta admit, I'm kinda glad I was able to read that, though. I often wondered what exactly the guys with the mags said to get the projects they do. Very cool.

My trunk monkey was born without a brain, thus it couldnt have been him. He ran off with some of his buddys to find some place called OZ. I told em to pick me up some wheels while he was there......
