Default Recirculating kit for HKS BOV?

Does HKS make Recirculation kit for their SSQV strictly for WRX application? I logged to their site and they only have it for an eagle talon or something.

The recirc requires a custom hose to be purchased and clamped to the stock recirc hose. There is not a setup made specifically for the wrx.

recirc kit is basically only an adapter that sticks out of the top of the BOV. THen you have to find your own hose to connect to the other hose. Oh and the 2 hoses are different sizes

That's what I thought! Do you guys recommend or suggest on how to do this? I got my Bov as a present for chrismas and I dont want to give it up. At the same time I want to recirc. If there is good remedy I should just sell it and get the 50/50 or return to stock. Anyone Interested if I decide to sell it?

Thanks!!

some people where able to get hosing from home depot, however my friend had a HKS SSQ and we could not find the proper hosing, but you need to buy the fitting that goes on the outside of the BOV and then get some 1 1/2 inch long hose and some one inch hose (not totaly sure on those sizes) and look for a type of adaptor that allows 2 different hose sizes to be connected. I wish i could give you exact name of the parts but i forgot

I found hose and an adapter at Home Depot but the hose wasn't soft rubber like the recirc hose. It was hard and if you bent it slightly it would just crimp the line so I thought I might be getting compressor surge so I just took it off til I can find a good hose.

OK, another question about the HKS SSQV... I know this is a dumb ass sounding question, but I won the BOV in a raffle.

Can I adjust how much pressure it lets out to 0? That way I don't need to "blow off" when driving around the police station?

The point of a BOV or by-pass valve is to get out the compressed air out of the intake tract a between gears... just go slow.

if you're worried about sound, just run it atmos. vented and pull the insert. that's what makes the noise.
