worn clutch? is there a way to check?

Just recently I noticed that my clutch engages high in the pedal.
I have never smelled any burned clutch in this car, and it is not showing any signs of slipping.
Maybe it's just me, or maybe it's broken in, but It just feels different,
(I notice it more when I downshift)
Any thoughts, maybe I should ask where in the pedal does your clutch engage?

About 1/2 way, but I have an 03 which might be different. Has the engagement point changed since you got the car? Does it seem like it is almost all the way out before it fully engages?

Mine engages high also...I think its normal...

I thought mine was half way when I first bought it, now it's at the top, maybe it's just me,

the way i have always checked to see if a clutch is worn is by appling the hand brake (all the way up). then try to take off in 2nd gear. if it stalls immediatly then clutch is good.. If it rides for a bit then you know its wearing out.
