Default NEW Gauge Package Pics/Movies

Sorry it took so long, but here are the new pics of the display and new bracket.

All of the pics/movies are in this directory. you should be able to view them directly.

The new display has a green LED and looks awesome. The pictures in my opinion do not do it justice. It is a 20X2 as opposed to 16X2, it's character size is smaller than the old 16X2, but it is still easily readable. Since the characters are smaller I can use both lines to display info. Bottom is for text while the top is for the bargraph. I changed the ICS symbol to a BOLD S, and I spruced up the bar-graph. I had a custom bracket machined with a beveled edge on the opening which makes for a clean install, in fact it looks factory.

Hopefully I will have a qoute on the PCB by early next week, Once I have that I can give you guys pricing.

Thanks for your patience and thanks for looking.

Perrin

This is REALLY COOL!!!! I second the question about the scrolling readings. Does it go to the boost readings and stay there when in boost and scroll when under vacuum? Or does it scroll through at a standard pace under all conditions?

The whole system is governed by boost/vac.

While under VACUUM, the system will display each "mode" automatically for a few seconds( VAC, VOLTS, OIL TEMP, TIME). If you are under a high vacuum for more than approx 90 secs(indicating that you are idling in traffic) the ICS will activate for approx. 5 secs and continue cycling until you begin to move/accelerate. The "S" symbol will blink when the ICS is spraying.

As soon as get into boost (basically .25 psi) Boost along with the bar grapgh and peak boost is automatically displayed. Once you hit 5 psi, the ICS will activate and the "S" symbol will begin to blink. Once your boost begins to taper off (falls more than 1.5 psi below your peak boost) a symbol will appear on the bargraph.

You should be able to see this on the day_pull_movie.

I can change the "mode" timing to whatever you want, That goes for the ICS settings as well.

Later

What is "ICS" . What all is involved in replacing the factory clock LCD display with your boost gauge? I'm interested in purchasing one of these when you get your PCB supplier logistics worked out.

Let me know pricing, shipping, etc info when you get it all figured out.

The FXT does not come with an Intercooler sprayer, However I am going to offer one as an option with my Gauge Package. See the following pics for reservoir location.
