Question head gasket , coolant additive

i was talking with a fellow suby owner about the head gasket problem i had with my rs right before my warranty died. when i finally got the problem figured out my warranty was dead. so i payed over 1600 bucks to have a dealer do it. my buddy told me that SOA had put out a recall or a maintance bulletin about the head gasket problem, he said that there was a coolant additive that help prevent the head gasket from blowing or something.
If anybody has heard anything or knows of the bulletin let me know . i'm haveing coolant issues again and i'm getting wearing about looking really hard at wuts up.
thanks Matt

The bulletin does not cover your 98, but you could buy the bottle for stuff for $1.39 and put it in yourself. Part number is SOA635071.
