For $47 a pair, I think you got the wrong part. The part number seems right, but maybe they shipped you the wrong stuff. I paid $75 for the front, and $15 for the rear.
Here is the link: http://www.grahamgoode.com/subaru/pr...s.htm#mudflaps

And here is the part number w/text off the site of what I ordered:
GGS306 Rear Std mud flaps
GGS769 Front Std mud flaps for turbo silled models (not illustrated)

If yours look like the pictured flaps on their page, they are the wrong ones.
To my knowledge the 2000 sill is the same as the 99. (?)

They don't look like the picture. They're similar to the std rear flaps, but the back face has a ridge across the middle. The std ones have a glossy finish, but these are a flat black. Does this sound like what you have?

Both pairs were about $47 each. The front ones had GGS769 on the box and everything. I'm thinking they must have changed something for 2000. They are shaped similar to the molding, but it's not just not right, not to mention none of the holes come close to lining up right. I could probably force them on and punch some holes through to attach them, but the curvature is misaligned enough to cause a big gap in there and it'll look stupid.

Question

Bryan,

Paul is right. Mine came in alright, part #769. You should be able to hold them against the side sills and they will follow the contour of the sill and body, although they may not touch the body when it's bolted up. There was a little color difference between the front and rear, but not a distinct gloss vs. flat finish. It was more of just a difference in the shade of black than anything. Also, the 769s came with an instruction sheet labeled "Subaru - 555 Turbo" and the number 1400-0301 under the 4 languages describing the "Front Mud Flaps". You may want to check with GGR to be sure there wasn't a mix up along the line. As far as the pricing goes, the fronts were almost 47 pounds (approx. $75 U.S.) and the rears were 18 pounds (approx. $28 U.S.). I hope you get it straightened out!! Good luck!

Adam

PS - If you want pictures of them on a car (Pauls' actually, but ours are white ), e-mail me.

Yep, I got that "instruction" sheet. Wasn't really any instructions on it other than a multi-step diagram. One page had warning messages in seven different languages. I think they were English, Spanish, Italian, French, German, Swedish, and Dutch. The rear ones are a very glossy black and came in a box labeled "Subaru Genuine Parts". This instruction sheet was fully in Japanese and all the screws and clips were different than the others, although the shapes are similar.

Post Mud Flaps don't fit!!!!

I know at least three people told me to order GGS769 front mud flaps from Graham Goode. They were about $47 for the pair and they arrived today. They DO NOT FIT! Now I know you people that recommended these things weren't smoking crack, were you?!?!!? These things aren't even close to fitting around the front sills. They are designed to fit around sills, but certainly not the ones on a 2000 RS!
