Default FS: V7 dash cluster from japan

Hey there guys,

I am posting this for a friend of mine who imports parts directly from japan. At the moment he has a V7 dash cluster, he is selling it for 250 cdn. I informed me there is a tiny nick on the front panel, but the stock front panel can be used from our cars. I've seen the pics, but couldnt find the nick so it must be tiny. Just PM me and I can get a hold of him if you guys are interested.

Just thought you guys might be interested,

Vovo

He can, but not available right now. I got my intercooler from him, so I know he can get a variety of parts.

Wow, good price! --

A) how many km's on it?
B) Is it JDM V7 Sti or just JDM V7 Wrx (you might want to clarify this)
C) the "front panel" -- are you referring to the clear plastic? I'm not sure about fitment, but the stock WRX clear plastic should fit -- IF you drill out an extra hole for the shift light adjustment.

It's a snap to remove the clear plastic - I've removed the clear plastic on both a JDM V7 Sti cluster and on the stock WRX cluster. Each time I did it to polish/wax them up using some professional grade cutting and polishing compounds. Works great, you can probably take out most nicks/scratches very easily this way.

After polishing/waxing - dust barely even sticks to it now.

BTW - I recommend using those new swiffer synthetic "feather duster" things for cleaning the car interior of dust -- particulary for scratch-prone things like the gauge cluster. This is a great tip I picked up from my gf btw

I have an 04 V7 JDM STi gauge set for sale too.. But I want $320 for mine..

It has 36k on it and it is in perfect shape, the clear plastic cover has a bit of swirly scratches (almost a year old), but it's not noticable when installed.

I love that the spedo is just KMPH .. losing the MPH looks nice and un-clutters the display. I also like the shift indicator sound & light.. When I have the stereo cranked it's perfect cause I cannot hear the engine revs, and it just makes the car so much more 'sporty'..

I need to sell it cause I don't want to mod it for the 04 WRX.. This is 100% plug n play with an manual impreza 03 or older, but for the 04 you have to work on the cruise control lights. I'd rather dish out the big $$$ and go for a v8 cluster, if I can ever find one.

Here's a HUGE image of the cluster:

Modem users beware!

EDIT: You can see the redline is different, but your engine's rev limiter will still kick in at the same spot.

EDIT EDIT: Normal price for a V7 STi cluster is $500 .. My bro paid $800 for a used GM cluster a few years ago, and I've seen them over $1000. I don't know how, but these are JDM, coming straight from Japan, and still cheaper than USDMs sold from vendors!

EDIT (3): Thanks Vovo! I made a smaller version of the gauge cluster. Click HERE
