Question Will a hood fit in the rear?

Will a MY00 2.5RS hood fit in the rear of a MY98 Forester?

LOL... I know it sounds odd.. But who rides around with a unpainted hood.. it's bad enough rocks all over the road and trying to doge them...

I'm thinking it might. I'd be inclined to wrap it up and tie it down on top.

OMG, what did I just suggest.

Couldn't you just swap hoods when you pick the new one up. The old hood should fit in the back of the RS if you taco it first.

I'm sure it fits in the back of a Ford Expedition right?

I've fit a hood for a 1985 Toyota 4Runner in the back of my Forester. I'd think that hood is bigger than a 2.5 RS hood. Just put it in on an end and put down the seats if you have to.

I've driven around with an '01 Turbo hood in the back of a '98 Forester.
