Billy Boat (B&B) Turboback Exhausts

Any one ever heard of:

Billy Boat (B&B) TBExhausts???

Are they any good (if they really do exist that is).

Some guy is trying to sell me one over the net new.

Any info would be appreciated. :-)

They seem to be good, I haven't heard anything bad about them. Full stainless with a divorced wastegate and twin tips. I would buy it if the deal is good.

Thanks for the input. And here I thought no one has ever heard of them! I also hear they make custom exhausts for Lotus or Porsche or someone.

I'm putting on their DP today mated up to a borla hush, the dp looks good w/nice welds, i'll let you know my impressions.

Ok....Last night I installed---PDE uppipe---Perrin Crank pulley & IC hoses--ITG airfilter w/silencer removed and fender plugged--speedmonkey chimney--B&B downpipe--Borla Hush--COBB Stage2....I put only 20 miles on the car so the ecu still needs to learn...but i can't manage to keep my front tires on the pavement

anyway...about the B&B....Its went on no problem clearance is tight near the frame/firewall, but its fits. I suggest connecting the "J" bracket before tightening the dp to the turbo, Its a divorced WG design...I cant really hear the WG like some people say....oh and mated with the Borla the sound is mint....at idle it sounds stock...seriously, even without CATs.

Thanks Slvwagon! I'm planning on getting the full turbo back b&b with only 1 high flow cat (@ the mid pipe). I am also going to get a pde uppipe and a possible reflash. Hey if you want too, try the vishnu reset trick vs. waiting for your car to learn. I don't have the post anymore but I do have the text! Let me know if you want it and thanks for the tips!

Just to let you guys know that B&B is really big with the Corvette guys. As far as their customer service is excellent. I've got a buddy that owns a vette and was having some issues with resonance on the exhaust, B&B exchanged the exhaust for him after having it for 2 years.

B&B makes really good stuff. looks good, good design, good gains. my bro has one on his BMW, inline 6s sound incredible... yeah, they were the first company to make 3 into 1 (tri flow)headers for porsche race cars.

go check out their website, they make exhaust for all kinds of high end cars. they have short little video clips of most of the cars, even one of a wrx with thier full tbe, sounds pretty mean!

In the May 2004 Modified Magazine, they installed a B&B up-pipe on an STi and said it was "a work of art". It also fit the turbo "flawlessly".

ok just installed the TBE system with high flow cat...sound is awesome, part quality is awesome...just had a few fitment issues....first the O2 sensor mounting position had to be moved...also the exhaust hangars seem to be pulled to the left causing the twin tip muffler to also pull to the left. Contacted them via e-mail about 20mins ago and I'll see what they say...they are located about 15minutes from me so I can go out there if they have questions. I do have an ecutek reflash on my car and don't get me wrong the power increase is definetly noticeable and I can hear and feel it spool a lot better.

B&B makes some gooood stuff. They make kick ass exhausts for porsche, corvettes, wrxs, and bikes. I think the TBE has the best sound of ALL exhausts in my opinion. I think Vivid's got a clip of it.

I really like their divorced waist gate DP. I'd like to hear more first hand comments about the quality and fitment.

their divorced wastegate is awesome....quality and fitment are great....the only problems I had was when you got to the cat-back area. Defnitely should get the DP.

How loud is the B&B exhaust compared to Borla Hush on an 05 STI? I want to use a PDE downpipe with cat and the B&B catback. I want a sond that is louder than stock, but not as loud as an APS exhaust.

I have a catless B&B TBE on my 98 RS w WRX engine. The sound imo is perfect, it's not too low, but not too loud either, a very nice balance and has a very deep rumble. The wastegate flutter can get pretty loud, It comes close to the volume of the exhaust itself from inside the cabin and this is using a divorced wastegate design for the DP. The great thing is you can go real quiet cruising with it, I tend to go into "quiet mode" when passing cops I'm very satisfied, 10/10, quality welding and fits good too.

i have the b&b full catless Exhausts on my 04 sti hedder and all its the shiznit, it went on like a glove the sound like no other you do get a lil boost creep some times but with any other the same will happen

i have the downpipe, and no complaints at all. it is mated up to a custom exhaust with hks hi power and i have got nothing but compliments on the sound.

I had a B&B on my LS1 Camaro SS. The quality was simply amazing as was the sound. Not cheap but it was worth it.

Any pics of the B&B uppipe? Similar to APS?
