Default just bought tickets to US Grand Prix in June

Some friends and I thought it would be for a road trip and see a race. We all enjoy F1 so it should be cool. We are sitting in corner 10 in the D row, which i could assume is pretty low.

Here is a pic of the track:

The race is June 20th we will be there from the 18th to 21st.

Dude you're gonna have a blast. I just got back from the Australian Grand Prix and it was awesome. What type of racing is gonna be going on the days before the actual grand prix?

Is there grass seats or only stadium seating? Grass seats are the best. You meet so many people and get to cheer and yell as loud as you want but when sitting in the grand stands everyone is a bit uptight.. Just have fun and be glad you're sitting near corners. They go by so quick on straights you barely have time to hear them.

Oh and remember if you're not drunk at the end of the grand prix you didn't try hard enough.

How much were tickets? How long is the actual race?

Thanks.

tickets were 85 for each and 20 bucks for parking pass for one car. It says the actual race is 73 laps.

You're going to have a ton of fun. I went last year (and went to the Canadian Gran Prix the year before). Your seats are in a brand new grandstand that was not built last year, however, I can tell you that they are excellent. The back straight and then that set of twisties make for some very entertaining driving on that part of the course. There is a grassy general admissions area to watch from just on the other side, next turn corner 8, that we watched practice and the Porsche Supercup from.

Also, don't know if you've heard but there is a Subaru Corral that you can be in (even if you don't drive your Suby out there) that will get you a special parking pass and an escorted motorcade into the Speedway. There is probably a thread about it in the MWIC forum.

I went last year and I had seats in the H stand. Corner is a pretty good spot, you can hear them going through the gears. Your also close to all the people selling stuff, and the museum.
