Default Question for those who has progress springs or knowledge of springs in particular

i have an 04 sedan and a shop installed my progress springs for me...........well the drop looks nice, rides, well but the front gap is 3 fingers and the rear is 1 finger.......is it suppose to be like that? i mean when u look at the car from the side it looks perfect...i'm just tripping on the gap...do u think they mixed up the front from the rear or i doesn't matter? thanks

The springs are on the wrong end....fronts on back and back on front...
Have them swap them out and don't take the car back there...that should have been obvious.

Don't the 04 springs taper up top on the rears? How could they be switched around if the top hats don't fit the spring?

Thats why I dont like the drop the Progress springs give, I have seen that before. They should make the front a bit lower, and the rear about .5" higher.

When I had Progress on my 02 WRX, the rear gap was a little bit less than the fronts - if that means anything...

The drop is supposed to be -1.8" in front for those springs....I don't think you stared out with ~4 inches, did you?
If so, then it's about right...the rear is supposed to be -1.5"

The front is suppose to have more gap than the rear.
I set my HA's that way too... 2.5 fingers front, 1 finger gap
on the rear. The car rides better that way too as the front
needs a lot of stroke.
