Default Question about EGT

anyone has EGT gauge installed? if you do, where did you install, manifold? When you installed the EGT sensor, any stock bolts or sensor took out and replace to aftermarket sensor?

If you have that bolt thing, can you take a picture for me? because I missed that thing!

thanks guys!

Well havent done it myself, but i imagine you can put an aftermarket sensor into the stock position on the uppipe. you'd just have to install a 2.2 ohm resistor into the stock EGT sensor plug to stop the check engine light.

I've herad that the up pipe is a bad place to put it... I remember reading people on here recommending putting it right next to one of the cylinders. I forget which one, but they said one fails first.
