Default 2K Wagon exhaust question

I am considering a new cat-back exhaust for my OB, and am curious as to the gains from one. I am debating between 2.25 and 2.5 inch pipe. Will the 2.5 be too big? What is the stock size pipe? Will a Magnaflow be too ricey sounding? Currently my only mod is a K&N panel filter.

Mike

i have a K&N and a Cobb and you will lose low-end torque, but gain some 4500+rpm midrange power
