Post anyone got a pic of a 4wd burnout??

I would love to see a pic of one of our cars smoking all 4 tires. Is that even possible to do??? If so, send the pics

It's almost IMPOSSIBLE, the ONLY time i have gotten all 4 to even spin (much less burn) was in a freshly tared and wet parking lot.

I don't try to hard though.

You can do it in mud. I've done this lots of times, but it's a pain to wash later

But when you're sliding in the mud in the car, that memory's completely worth it. I wish I had just recorded it with a vid cam. This weekend there's some SOLO competitions, so I'm not free but I'll try next weekend to get some pics with my digicam or some vids

Well the closest I've come is scoobnuts. I haven't been able to take a picture of recent scoobnuts, but let me say that my Kumho 712's produce a good amount of smoke when the ground is just damp.

I've got some video fotage on my VHS tape of R. Burns cutting cookies after his fast run at the Goodwin Festival of speed. He just roasted the tires, smoke everywhere... beautiful!

My Galant can spin all four. I'm not big on the idea of trying too often since eventually it will break something.

Guys, I can't beleive you ask such trivial questions. That year Imprezas didn't have latches that could be opened from inside the trunk. SCCA ProRally supplemental regulation #167-2.0.3 states:
"A key must be in the trunk lock at all times while on the stage or in the transit zone, so that Rally Marshalls would be able to free the Trunk Monkey in case of an accident." Please read your manuals more carefully next time =)

Heh. One magazine tried to do it with a supercharged F150. It simply had too much traction in 4wd, so they ended up attaching it to a pair of hooks on the tarmac thats normaly used to ground test jet aircraft. Even so they needed to bleach all 4 tires. Power wasn;t the problem as it had somethink like 400+ HP, its just those huge tires were too grippy on concrete.
