8:00pm ET. Gromholm sp? wins. McRae and Sainz take 2nd and 3rd. SWRT retires towards end of the race. Burns does a 360 and screws up the steering and Juha has trouble with the turbo.. I think. What sucks is that as of Sept 1st my cable company is dropping Speedvision

Yep...taped it, then turned everything off and watched it. I was very suprised to see both retire from g'box problems. If I was there, I'd let them use my car to finish.

A bad day for the Subie crowd, to be sure. What about Tommi Makinen (sp?) - he started off the season looking pretty tough, but he's just been getting hammered that last few races. Kinda like poor Schumie in F1.

The series is really closing up. It's going to be a hard core fight to the finish! Burns is starting to loose his cool. But I still have high hope for him and SWRT.

I called my cable company to bitch about it. They are dropping a couple of thier digital channels because they are going to start offering "Digital Cable" for (brace yourself) $65 a month not including any premium channels. Not only is the regular cable losing channels our rate is going up to $35 a month! I hate cable companies. We only have one in town, total monopoly. Does anybody out there now anything about dishes? How much a month, how much of a hassle? How do you get local stations?

I have the Directv Total Choice Gold program channels and I pay $42 a month for great pictures compared to my parents cable plus I get Speedvision to boot.

Dont worry Matt, if he didnt want/expect to see the outcome posted I think he would have stayed out of the thread. That's what I did with the xmen thread.

Muahahaha! I get 250 channels of digital cable plus 45 movie channels for 49 bucks a month.

Regular cable w/ movie channels (and yes speedvision too) is like 25 bucks a month. We have Charter here, I think each area sets its own prices.
