I had a set of hangers from TWR...can't remember what I did with them. They are pinkish...dunno if they will fit either as I never tested them out. My exhaust managed to sit perfectly and move very little so never had a need for them.

I got a set of vishnu's. It took a bit of positioning after they were installed to get them settled. After that, they're working very well.

I used some steel rod and a pipe bender to mock up mine. A total of $5 and some time, and they fit well.

I've always wondered what it would be like to buy somehting pre-fabbed though.

I may have a set of these. They're pink, feel like rubber, but they look generic - no TWR logo on them. I won them at the TOTAL meet last year. I'm selling them new for $10 for the 2 paks of 2.

mallot and a rod to bang out your heatshield will most likely get rid of the rattle.

was searching around and found out that kartboy sells extended hangers to keep the muffler from melting the bumper, which is what mine is slowly doing... is there a local kartboy retailer here?

You're over exaggerating again Benjamin Tang.. you just need to clean your bumper more often.

Do you specifically know which part of your exhaust is banging? Sometimes, stiffer bushings won't do jack. Maybe have a good look at it first.

exhaust canister is hitting the backside of the bumper and is starting to melt it's way thru.

canister is hitting the shield right above it because it's sitting too high.

downpipe sometimes bangs against the transmission tunnel if i stand on it too hard mid-corner... this is the worst one. sometimes going big-ass bellmouth isn't so great

We can have a look at it together if you'd like.

Now I'm on your wavelength.

Does anyone make a urethane universal hanger?
that would be sweet.

Why don't you just use some zipties to hold things together. Maybe that will help the hangers support the weight of the aftermarket exhaust?

tora - I do recall seeing some pink exhaust hangers that are dirty in the Total showcase.

LaterZ!

I have some cusco hangers. Installed them 3 years ago and they have been perfect. They have survived Winnipeg winters with no problems.

Good stuff.

www.lachutesubaru.com in Quebec has what appears to be 4 (at least that is what the picture shows) urethane hangers for $23 dollars. They look very similar to the ones I bought from Vishnu last year.

Ben - I'll take a pic of the hangers tonight so you know if they're the right ones or not.

Sounds like you might need stiffer engine/transmission mounts to keep your engine and tranny from rocking around.

I have the kartboy urathane hangers. They are much stiffer than the stock black rubberized ones. They are a bitch to get on but they keep your exhaust from moving side to side. There are four of them. I think I bought mine off the kartboy website for about 20 bucks US shipped?
