Fastest Stock Turbo WRX

Default Stock Turbo Record Goes Down 12.78@106.62 249.8HP 276.39TQ

We it all came together last night at atco raceway. Headed down and ran the WRX. Info on the car:
03 WRX Sedan
AEM Short Ram Intake
TXS DSBC
Greddy S Type BOV
Quick Time Performance Electric Cutout Down Pipe
Quick Time Peformance Long Tube Tri Y Header
TXS UTEC Dyno Tuned @ Turbotrix
Centerline RPM 17X7 Rims
Nitto 450 225/45/17

Full Weight with spare/jack. Only thing removed from this car was the baby seat

Installed the UTEC and Dyno tuned at Turbotrix on thursday.
Special thanks to Junior for an awesome tune.
249.80 hp and 276.39 tq

Here is the run breakdown:
60ft-1.742
33ft-5.241
1/8t-8.135
MPH-85.07
990ft-10.591
1/4-12.782
MPH-106.62
ANd the scan of the slip
http://www.quicktimeperformance.com/...lipwrx1278.jpg
Car felt good, Feels like can get more out of it. We squeeze 21 psi out of the stock turbo. Holds it to about 5500 then drops off to 16-17 psi right before i shift.

A little video compilation of it on the dyno and the run.
http://www.quicktimeperformance.com/pics/wrx1278.wmv

I spoke to 2 WRX owners there and showed them the slip and look at my car to verify it.

To say the least im happy with the time but there is still more to come.

Special thanks goes out to Junior@Turbotrix and Shawn@
Millennium Autosports for all there help.

21 psi on a stock turbo? That has to be blowing hot air.

Eric L told me about this run yesterday, and I told him I think no one's done a 12.7 w/o nitrous yet on stock turbo...Hasassin has run 12.9, and a guy in Puerto Rico supposedly ran 12.8...nice work!

After seeing Eric's LS1 cutout exhaust, and reading this, I want a downpipe w/electric cutout too!

Good run. looks cool. I just cant believe they are selling those headers for $900 when they retail for $500-600 new.

Well I think awd1320 has the stock turbo record at 12.05 w/ a 1.56 60'

That's with a 75 shot and dogbox though

Yeah, He is the fastest so far. He had me by .01 seconds. I did 12.06 @ 111 with 1.7 0-60 foot in 2002 with stock turbo, nitrous, and stock tranny.

Trust me, from my experience with the cutout it is not worth any bit of the money. First off, it always leaked even closed. The sound was horrible, it made a muffled put put put put sound (not very descriptive i know). And when the valve was on, yea the sound was amazing, but it just sounds faster than what the car actually is (i guess a lot of people like that though ). The performance with the cutout is less than with straight back pipe to the back, torque is reduced just for a lil more hp up top. Not to mention that the cutout completely came off on the freeway, leaving a gaping hole in my downpipe that i had to get filled.

deuce..

Default Nice job

Very nice job!

Boy I wish the strips were open up here, but must wait a few more weeks.

The TD04l-13G will run those boost levels very effeciently near mid range rpms. It only goes out of range at red line which is why it tapers.

great times

were those #'s from the dyno using the E-cut out?

and was this dyno run done w/ pump or race gas?
and the same for ur run on the 1/4 time?

i wonder what times you would of got if you had stock 16" or lighter 17's.

and this was on stock TMIC?

Please don't take this the wrong way, but Atco is a very fast track, I would guess about .2 sec faster in the average 1/4 mile run. There was a guy from around here that ran his car down there and ran about .2-.3 faster than at NED.
