not really answering your question, but you can use 02/03 strut tops in the rear, meaning you can use any 02/03 spring setup. It'll bolt right up.

just a thought.

Prodrive has never made wagon specific springs, so they probably won't start making them for the '04. Most people have found that the "sedan" Prodrive springs work quite well with the wagon.

Prodrive does not show '04 WRX springs on their website, so I think everyone is still waiting for the sedan version as well as the STI version - big topic out there on that.

For right now, Whiteline has wagon specific springs for the '04 model - see PMD Racing:

http://www.pdm-racing.com/products/subaru_corner.html

Other's may also have wagon specific springs - Eibach and Tein come to mind - but I'm not absolutely sure. I quit looking at springs after I bought the Prodrives for my '02 wagon.

Even Eibach stopped making wagon springs, iirc.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Eibach makes wagon specific springs for the 02-03 (#7711.140), but not for the 04 - so far.

Tein sells a wagon spring in Japan, but in the US market they sell the same spring for wagon and sedan.

I stand corrected, it seems as though I was given some bad info by vendor who will remain nameless...

Mark, would you happen to know the differences between the wagon and sedan springs? Length, rate, and such?

If anyone wants a set of rear strut tops for an 02 wagon, send me a PM. You can have mine for shipping and a 12-pack.

Not much. Eibach doesn't publish their spring rates, just the drop. The wagon springs reportedly give an even drop, -1.1" front and rear. The sedan springs lower more in front, -1.2f/-1.0"r.

ProKit springs are progressive - better for comfort, but less consistent - and designed to work with stock struts. They are not a lot stiffer than stock - maybe 10% or so. They do work as advertised - they are good with stock struts around town, but are not the best choice if you're serious about handling.
