the reason i'm asking... i have a fujitsubo equal-length 1-piece header and upipe, bolted to a stock td04 with a turboxs stealthback. because of the downpipe my wastegats is somewhat shrill (hopefully will go away when i get my vf39 in), but i guess for the reasons stated above, i've lost some of my boxer sound because it's equal-length, but it dosen't sound like a honda.

when cold, i get the pinging sound. but when things are hot after 20-30 minutes of driving, the pinging is gone.

but, i have seen a fallout in boost. until now i've attributed it to the leaking wastegate and stock ecu... or am i wrong?
