Post Driving by looking through the passenger side window

This is a quote from gamespot UK in preview of Colin McRae Rally 2.0.
This is what one of the developers said after riding shotgun with Colin M.

'Absolutely awesome. I flew out to Spain while Colin was testing the car on tarmac and the G-forces were unreal. I was gobsmacked by the amount of grip. It was all
I could do to keep my head pointing forwards! The second time out was a gravel test in Cumbria. I remember one corner in particular which was taken flat out, completely sideways at about 70-80mph. There was a steep drop on my side which was only about a foot away and Colin was driving looking past me, through the side window. His reaction times are absolutely incredible. '

Hehe... reminds me of driving in the winter in my old Volvo... I couldn't keep that thing straight to save my life.

I must admit, that sounds like the thrill ride of a lifetime, though.

Sounds like the ol' winter rental to me!

This last winter, my RS was in the shop for repairs from a major collision the entire time snow was on the ground in my area. So I had a rental, a Mazda 626. Well, not having my RS, I really didn't care what happened to the car I was driving, so I really went all-out in the snow. Now, obviously I am no Colin McRae, but I had that Mazda doing some pretty crazy stuff. A really good learning experience, even though the 626 is FWD, a lot of the same tactics can be applied with AWD, of course with much better control! I must say, there is much enjoyment to be had when you're not in your own ride, no matter how much you love it! Hmmm, now I'm thinking about getting a beater...

Oh, and I ran that 626 into a snow bank at one point on a turn. I had to use my friend's truck to get it out! The slight amount of damage wasn't even noticed when I took the car back.
