Nice is this going on your car, what specs. Is that a genuine gt housing. What size housing is it? That will push some serious power, care to list your setup, i'd be interested?

GT30 dual BB -12 cartridge
51 lbs/min I think... rated to 500hp... 3 inch in out... not the 4.. hehehe had it machined. going on my car yes... but vendor is kinetic motorsport... they forgot to send my external Tial wastegate tho.... grr.... but they are really good.... take a look at the Vband pics... |

12 should still be a nice street turbo. Do you know what AR the ex. housing is? You have a 2.2 so that should be nice (if i'm reading your profile right, lol.)

It is the T3 housing... the outlet is small... I think it should be fine though... for spool too.
The A/R for the hot side is .83 |

forgot... going in this weekend along with my hyperflow FMIC... I think it should be ok on lag... but I will get a bit because of the low compression. My supra friend says that the turbo isn't Dual BB just single... he says if its dual the wheel will just keep on spinning for like 15 secs...
this true? Mine spins way better then the old BB turbo I had... I got this for about 1500US I would say. but I had a V band made for it and got a wastegate... so around there. Kastle... that cartridge is that..? looks good... Mine is just an off the shelf -12 with plain old housings... with Vband.. But common ... a BLACK turbo is worth posting... ![]() |
