Default CompuStar & Blitz

Does anyone know how to wire a Blitz Fatt DC III Turbo Timer up with a CompuStar Spectra Remote Start / Alarm so that they work together. I'm having a bit of trouble getting them to not confuse each other.
Thanks

I think the main problem is getting the car to lock after you get out with the turbo timer still going. I dont know about your compustar but mine has a turbo timer built in that gets rid of all the problems. If you give more detail about your timer and the alarm you have I can probably help. I have installed 3 compustar alarms on my cars so I know the company pretty well, and because I'm not affiliated with anyone, I'll give what I know freely.

if you don't plan on using the compustar's built in turbo timer you just need to isolate the ignition sensing wire off the alarm system.

a member mentioned moving the alarm's ignition sensing wire to the accessory wire, but this will prevent your starter kill relay from interupting the starter wire when someone tries to start your vehicle while the alarm is armed.

you can use a relay to do this here.

I think I had that setup but without the diode. That could be what I'm missing.
Thanks

Hey, my wife works for tech support for Compustar, I'll have her take a look at this thread in the morning.

Ok- The relay need to isolate the compustar from the ignition .

The compustar Ignition wire needs connected to the #87A pole of the relay.
The Turbo timer output needs to be connected to the #87 pole and the 86 pole. Connect the E brake wire to the 85 pole. Connect the#30 Pole to the cars Ignition wire.
What this will do is when the TT is on ,Ignition wire to the Compustar will be disconnected. Allowing it to arm. OK Look at my post about "relays for dummies " on scooby mods.com It wil explain a lil more how the relay works.

PS I wire alarms and TTs at a shop in Tacoma WA. So I'm no shade tree.

Yeah the directions from NetZ and it8 worked great. Follow them and you should be ok. The link to NetZ's diagram doesn't work anymore so just use it8's directions.
