i think i may have redeamed myself Richard.

Just got hold of the onboard camera footage from stefs car of stef in his UK Turbo, Harj in the 22B and me in my westie at the Nurburgring doing our fast convoy lap.

Seriously AWESOME stuff!!

Got the 22B totally sideways out of the Karousel, Stef giving it plenty of sideways for the crowds and my little beastie throwing flames out the exhaust galore.

Fax the contract now Richard or its heading for the incinerator!! LOL

Nurburgring, is an awesome place. I got to take a friends Z-28 around that track, also got my first ride in an Escort Cossie there. I loved it. I used to live in Ulmen when I was in the military. Know you have made me really jealous. I want to go back there so bad.

HI..

i've never timed it for 0 - 60 or 1/4 mile..

for me those are not important figures.. The Link ecu fitted to the car is currently is only mapped for only around 280hp and ~ 280 ln /ft torque.. But it's been mapped for durability by the best

That makes it a supbremely able and fast road / track car.. Rather than a "drag queen"

Sorry that I don't have the figures for you
Richard

Oh BTW I really do appreciate it..

276 is the BHP (Brake Horse power), it is what you get when you dyno a car. We don't label cars with brake horse power over here. People would be very disapointed. And they rate in BHP in japan, because it is illegal to sell a car with over 300hp, from what I understand. Engine horse power is what we see over here, kinda a rule of thumb, take bhp and add %15. That would put it at 317HP, at the flywheel.

Rally Man..

easy fix.. get an airticket to the Uk and I can easily fix up a ride for you.. Easy Done

Subyracer

The videos were done at an old airfield that is now used for car testing and filming

Snapperhead.

The car is mapped to 280bhp / 275 lb ft for reliability on 97 Octane fuel.. Max power is achieved at only 5500 rpm. Figures were taken on the dyno at Powerstation in the UK.. It seems that before the Link ECU was fitted by BRD, she was detting on 97 oct.. I know a couple of Type Uk owners that have had the same problem.. Since the new ECU / re-map no more det

The mods that have been done are:

Scoobysport Downpipe
Scoobysport Exhaust
Link ECU
Lambda and Knock Link
Scooby Sport Driving lights
Tarox 40 groove rotors on the front
Ferodo DS 2000 pads ( used to have the Pagid blue but they chew the rotors)
Powerstation Bumpsteer mod and suspension setup.
