Have a Nice Day? still trying to keep up and learn

I've been playing with v4.1 since it first came out and I still can't seem to keep up with all the latest changes. =I sigh.. I wish I have abigger turbo and new injectors to see what the new changes in 4.2 does

I'm planning to use 4.2 with stock turbo/injectors but with a non-stock value in the scaling to help nix the hesitation (which I've come very close to fixing in 4.1, but still rears it's head in certain situations). Of course that means all the time I spent tweaking the lower load sites was for not but I think this new version is good for everyone, not just the big turbo people.

What hesitation are you experience. Maybe its me or that I haven't really paid too close of an attention to realize this

Are you using OLF? With a base map, as you cross the fuel threshold (no matter what you set it to), there's a big dip in AFR's because the UTEC's map is very rich, so the car hesitates. The fix is to change the boost map so you don't get any boost at low TPS % and change the fuel map to pull a bunch of fuel out at the low load sites (10,20,30%). I'm running -3, -2.5, -2 at 1-5k RPM. I also run -3's at the 50-60% load site at 6-7k RPM so I could get the AFR out of the 9's. I'll probably set the scaling to something like 480 with 0's in the whole fuel map and go from there

Ohh i c,

well, i'm using a EBC (SBC-iD) to regulate my boost, so the boost map is not of my concern. yeah, at teh beggining i was in the 9 AFR ranges.. but for the fuel map, yes, i've had to take out a bunch of fuel all over the place. But in the 1-5k rangei'm at "0" for the fuel and from 5k to 7k low 10-30% i'm at a -.5 and the 5k-7k i'm at from -1.5 to -2 ranges.

But i haven't felt the hesitation.

p.s., ignore what I said about running the map with non-stock injector size in the scaling with stock injectors to change the AFR. It became immediately obvious why that is completely wrong the second I started the car with those settings. Please excuse my Homer moment.
