Default hood scoop fitment

Does anyone know if the 02-03 STI hood scoop is a direct bolt on replacement for the XT scoop? Part #90821FE021NN

Yes.

The 02-03 fits. 04 does not.

Default hood scoops...

My thinking lately (despite the NICE white XT with STi scoop) has been of the sleeper variety...carbon fiber NACA ducts, which actually are INSET into the hood. I've held off because the rigors of occasional runs to Phoenix involve 5000' elevation differences and 110 degree temps preclude anything that diminishes cooling.

But with our move to Alaska looming on the horizon, I'm thinking a NACA duct will do just fine!
