Unhappy Ma tailights don't like me anynmore. Please Help!

I just recently installed my Defi boost gauge, and I mounted it on the steering column. I decided to remove the parking light switch on the steering column in order to put the gauge over it. I just popped the switch out. Now, when my headlights are on, my tailights do not go on. They go on for the brakes, but when just driving with the regular headlights on, they are not on. I am definately assuming that taking that switch off had something to do with it, but I am not sure. Can someone help me figure out what the problem is? I just hit 36000 miles, so the warranty is out of the question. I have already been pulled over for it, and I need to get it fixed. I appreciate everyones help.

Thanks,
Ben

By unplugging that switch you interrupted the parking light circuit. The obvious solution is to put it back. You can't mount your gauge on the side of the column like the OEM pod?
If for whatever reason you can't put the switch back, get the wiring manual and make the necessary connections to bypass the missing switch.

Thanks for the help. I like having it in the middle, but I may have to settle for it being on the side.
