Default ProECM powerchip malfunction

The cooling fans on the '01 RS stopped turning on when the coolant got up to temp. Thought it was the coolant temp sensor because of the CEL I was getting, so I paid a whole bunch of money & spent the time swapping it out. Still not coming on, so I pulled the ProECM & they work normally again. I've had the chip in for a couple of years, and never had a problem until about a month ago. I was planning to pull the chip anyway & sell it, since I'm taking the car back to "almost stock" but now that's it's malfunctioning I guess I'll be smashing it with a BFH to get out some aggression.

Don't know if this has been posted before, but anyway here it is.
