Post New MY00. Now what?

Still waiting for my RS to come in. But when it comes in I'm looking to save cash for some kind of speed upgrade. Already getting exhaust, however; I want some serious speed. 0-60 in high 6's would be a good start but it seems the only way for me get there would be a super or a turbo. Problem is, as we all know, that voids the warranty. Is it a good idea to put mods on a new car just to void the warranty? And are the supers/turbos dependable for everyday use?

Add an intake, a intermediate pipe on the exhaust, and an underdrive pulley to your plan (the exhaust) and you should be able to pull high 6's, possibly very low 7's. I don't know the stats exactly (since I don't think anyone has done all that and just that, yet), but I think it sounds about right.

get Kartboy's short shifter, that is a must buy, as is the 18mm (if you aren't changing your suspension) or 20mm (if you are going to change your suspension) rear anti-sway bar

Get a 20MM sway bar and wait for the warranty to run out so you can get a turbo (I like to be on the safe side) than you'll be pulling high 4's or low 5's.
