Post Where are the yellow 02 WRX pic(s)?

Guys...a couple of days ago there was a thread that had a pic of a yellow 02 WRX in it. I can't find it now. Can someone post it?

That was a photoshop job. We haven't gotten any real pics of the yellow, so we don't really know what shade it will be. I can't remember what thread it was in, so I can't post it. It wasn't real though, so don't worry to much about it.

I made one in every color and I added my wheels to them . You select the area you want changed then go to Image/Adjust/Selective Color and move the sliders until you get the desired colors.

Hey Bunuel,

Very cool colors! One question, which Photoshop tool did you use to make your selection prior to applying the selective color?

Thanks,

Easiest way on something like this (where the colours of the object you're selecting are saturated enough so as to distinguish it completely from the background) is to select by colour range.

Also, when modifying colours, apply an adjustment layer with a selection mask; this makes modifications far easier to control. It would, for example, allow you to control the hue, contrast, brightness, and saturation of the car using different adjustment layers -- you would make the colours more realistic (eliminate the plastic feel) since you could fine tune your adjustments more easily.

This is probably in the Photoshop manual someplace

Greg.

Bunuel - you da man! I noticed that you used a different wheel on the yellow. What about the other shade of yellow that you were talking about? The one you don't like. I'm thinking it might look like the yellow on the Audi S4.
