Check out what the boost controller says at 0:17 secs.... 2 bar at 5000rpm!!!
Those turbos probably hit 35 psi by the redline.

can you post the actual dyno sheet.

I'm curious as to what the power curve look like. It doesn't seem to make much power untill about 5,000rpm's and then it just takes off!

This is the only dyno sheet he published afaik, he doesnt have the one that shows rwhp by the rpm.

BTW here are some more numbers he posted on www.supraforums.com

Quote:
600rwhp@6800 on 93 octane at 1.4 bar
670rwhp@6800 on 100 octane at 2.0 bar
765rwhp@6200 at 2.0 bar with a 70 shot

The NOS runs were stopped short to avoid slamming into the rev limiter, but
made 765rwhp at 6200rpms and was still rising towards the 7200 rpm limit.

rear wheel horsepower ,as opposed to crank power, which doesn't take into account drivetrain friction.

For Comparison Purposes (rwhp vs. hp) My friends vette had 920hp on the engine dyno. When he Chassis dynoed it (how most people dyno) he put 805hp to the ground.

That is a 12.5% loss. using the same formula for the SC300, that would equate to 860.625hp at the crank (Where all stock cars are measured)!!!!

Question

12.5% loss? What transmission and rear end does he use? That is unusually low drivetrain loss.

I know it is pretty low. But you also have to think that he had a low friction Racing Water pump, no A/C compressor, no smog pump, and when he did the engine dyno he didn't even have the Power steering pump or Alternator hooked up.

So that being said, if you take a more realistic drivetrain loss of 18% you are looking at about 902.7hp for the SC300!

But so you know, It is a ZF 6-speed transmission and a Dana-44 rear end

Oh, I see. Some of his accessories weren't hooked up. Pretty darn good none the less.

The Zahradfabrik Friedshafen 6 speed and the Dana 44 certainly is an efficient combination.

Cool

My dad bought a Lexus GS300 made by Toyomoto. It has a big a$$ turbo (t77 IIRC), motor buildup, Haltech, custom trany (auto), lowered, 19 inch rims and silver

Dynoed at over 600hp at the wheels.

I'll post pics as soon as the car gets here. Oh the previous owner raced a Viper GTS with chip, filter and exhaust and pulled 2 cars on the viper

That noise you hear on the dyno, and the resultant spike of the tachometer is the driver hitting the nitrous button. Look closely you can see his right hand move out of the shot to hit the spray. We looked at this quit a few time at work a few weeks back.

He he, they were racing on the upper deck of the insterstate here in Austin, no entrance or exit ramps for about 3/4 of a mile and no place for cops to hide. Of course it about a 50 foot drop if you go over the guard rail, but that's pretty unlikely in a car.
I've heard that he bring the car out to the local saturday night import hangout. I'll try to get some pictures if I'm ever able to go.
