I have the Sparkco 9mm blue wires that I've had for nearly 3 years now. I love the look and the performance "gains", but recently one has shorted, burning a hole thru the boot.
I've contacted Sparkco, for a replacement (supposed to be under lifetime warranty). But, I've heard and read horror stories about dealing with Sparkco. Anyone have any experience with this? Should this route prove too difficult, I'm thinking of Magnecores. Where can I purchase them? Anyone have experience with the 8.5 vs 10 mm wires? Thanks, Brent tdibrent@hotmail.com 2001 Impreza 2.5 RS Coupe

Sparkco? not Sparco?
anyways, just buy the OEM ones... they work great! I hear stories/problems with the Magnecores popping off and such. Besides, the oem ones are only $30 or something... maybe less? And plus you can upgrade to NGK V-powers and your car will love it! And... all that will cost way less than a set of Magnecores. ![]() |

it's sparkco...
basically the general consensus is that they are not very good (erm.. trying to be kind here. but most think they are crap wires.... sorry...) best made for your car = OE i've NEVER heard really great things about 'fancy pretty' aftermarket wires. There really is no need for them as the OE wires are ENGINEERED AND DESIGNED for your car..... but in your current situation, all you can do is contact them and see if they have a warranty policy and will stand by it for you. wish ya the best of luck jamie www.subiegal.com |
