Unhappy What Would You Do....

...if you was in my place?
I order last April a part from company "A".
They say it's special ordered and according to their site it needs 4-6 weeks for delivery.
I am waiting 4-5 months and after decades e-mails they agree to send me as replacement the part "B" after the comments I wrote in this forum about them.
Now after two more months still waiting for the part B that according to them should be delivered to me as they haven't kept any proof or tracking number to search the part and is dispatched with USPS.
They claim it should be in my hands until now but I am not responsible for the loss they should have at least some kind of voucher or other proof from USPS right?
I am thousand miles away from USA and haven't ever had such problems when ordering from internet shops, this is also a question to other vendors that experienced similar cases PLEASE TELL ME WHAT TO DO?

They are definately trying to screw you, its not difficult to get a tracking number and if they sent the part to you they would give it to you just to cover their own butt. You need to post the name of the vendor and that may help, bad press is never good for their business. You should demand a refund, and if you don't get one call the police department in their town and see what they tell you to do. Also if you paid with a credit card call the credit card company and inform them and they will go after them as well.

Thanks Scott, it seems that no one else cares to comment about my issue!
Anyway just for your info the company is MauroMotorsports and I ordered a STI TMIC last April.
Antony Mauro promised me replacement (he hasn't the STI in stock after almost 5 months) with a Spearco unit before two months, still waiting for the I/C and he say that hasn't any proof from USPS so he can't search it!
Am I responsible, as far as I know when you send with post even a small package they give you a tracking or similar number or proof of dispatch?

No you are not responsible for lost packages. The only way to get a tracking number from the post office is to pay extra. I would contact them and get your money back if you paid for the I/C. If you paid by credit card you should call them asap and have them credit you back.

-To obtain a tracking(confirmation reciept) costs $1.75(max)
-All international shippers do however get issued an "air way bill" which acts as a reciept.

I just got back from SEMA today. I've been away all week and had to close the shop. The customer and I have been in contact with one anther for months. First we ordered the STi intercooler (NEW) which still hasn't arrived...then I told him I"d swap for no extra charge the Spearco IC. I shipped the IC to him over in Europe months ago and have no way to track down the package becuase you cannot get international shipping. He tells me it's lost...so how do I know it wasn't delivered????

I'm simply giving this customer a refund...we have not been dealing with any international orders for a while now and this is just another reason why.

Antony could I know in every case that you haven't tracking number when I asked you to find where is the lost package?
I just want to finhsh this issue!
You own a company and is ridiculous when you say you send parts localy or international with no proof (tracking number etc) and if the customer (and you) are lucky they may be delivered, otherwise, who knows?
After 7 months of waiting I can't say anything more....believe me everyone understands!
JIM

I am waiting for the I/C or refund...

I'm telling you like I've told you before that you cannot track international packages from the US postal service....I've told you and everyone on this thread several times. When I discussed it with the US postal service they told me there is no way to track down the item I shipped once it is out of their hands and in another country.

Quote:
You own a company and is ridiculous when you say you send parts localy or international with no proof (tracking number etc) and if the customer (and you) are lucky they may be delivered, otherwise, who knows?
First off I never said I ship items domestically with no tracking numbers. That's just a preponderous statement and I don't know where you came up with that. Everything I ship has a tracking number through UPS or FEDEX, whether it's international or domestic. If I remember correctly you didn't just order the intercooler but other items that DID arrive on time and without any issues.

Another thing you don't seem to remember is that when we discussed having a Spearco shipped ,instead of the STi IC, I told you in an e-mail that I was shipping it via USPS to save the shipping costs. You agreed that it was ok. I did what I said I would do and shipped it out later that week and now I'm told you never received it...so here I am stuck with no proof if the item was received by you, but your word. I don't particularly like the fact that you are basically calling me a liar on here, but I do own this business and I will make sure YOU are satisfied.

So here's what I said I'm going to do in my last reply to this issue. I am going to refund you the money, because I am not going to try and ship another intercooler to you and take the chance of it being lost again.

Quote:
...believe me everyone understands!
What everyone needs to understand is that in this business there is a lot of fraud overseas and domestically. I've dealt with it in more then one instance and have been trying to minimize the chances of it happening again. I personally made the mistake of not shipping this item through UPS or Fedex to save the customer some money. It will not happen again.

Jim, I will process your credit on Monday like I stated earlier, but you need to contact me with your credit card info. I do not have it on file since all credit card info is deleted after 3 weeks to protect our customers.

Thank you again,
Anthony Mauro

This has done nothing for me..the receipt is worthless once the package leaves US hands and is in the hands of another country. According to USPS in our town.

Anthony, if you have the airway bill it should act as proof that it went overseas, and if he didn't recieve his package he needs to file with the postal service about it, not you. Not your fault they f'ed up.

I've bought items from Anthony several times now, and since those transactions (even one with a small hiccup) all worked out very smoothly he will be getting all my future buisness as well. I've dealt with most of the vendors on this forum and he is by far the best of them.

Antony I don't want to defame your company, believe me, you did try to serve me but when I ask you the tracking number you told me there isn't tracking or shipping number.
In Greece ACS is responsible for USPS packages, they should have at least one number to give you when they send the parceil outside USA in order to search it localy.
Why you say I call you liar, isn't the same when you say I have received the package?
This way you call me also liar with no proof!
Give me the number you have and I'll call USPS to see what they say before you refund the money.
I have also dealt with many vendors and in one case recently we found the package via USPS!

Jim,

I'm giving you a refund and I will not ship another intercooler your way. I do not want to take the chances of having another product lost somewhere in the middle of Greece. I am not calling anyone a liar I'm just trying to cover my own end and clear the issue.

Just to get this out in the open I have two fax numbers. Both are business one is my own private fax for the business...which is the one above.

For some reason JIM THEO thinks I'm giving him a fake number or a spam number so I can steal his credit card number! He thinks since I'm not listed in the Yellow pages that I am a fraud! It's one thing after the next with this! All i want to do is give your credit back Mr. Theo...that's it. Why would I put a fake number on this forum for the world to see!?

I didn't say this Anthony just that could someone post instead of you a "fake" reply to my question and have my credit card account!
This isn't rare on Internet transactions and I try to protect myself, I don' think this is offensive in any way against you.
I never said you are fraud or deceiver, contrary to what you believe I appreciate your behaviour even after six months of waiting!
Hope this is clear, I don't want to defame your company it was just a bad case.

All I have to say is that I've been dealing with Anthony and MauroMotorsports since I purchased my WRX in October 2003. I don't think I've found another vendor that is as helpful, honest, and quick in shipping as Anthony is. He always returns my emails and is prompt in sending tracking information.

Just made another purchase from him yesterday, for a set of wheels, and could not be happier with the price and shipping information.

I highly recommend MM to anyone looking for a good price and great service.

Simply amazing! Mauromotorsports is the greatest. Their service is very fast. I would send an email about a question on the product and would get a response within a hour or so. The prices are great too. And shipping was even better, I ordered a set of prodrive springs on monday and they arrived at my house wednesday. I really enjoyed doing business with them, and look foward to purchasing future items from them.

I wish I could say the same!
I am waiting the refund from Anthony (more than a month if you read the above posts) and he says his accounting has trasfer the money but they haven't "arrive" in my account also he didn't send me any voucher or any other proof even when I asked it!
The truth is he never send me a copy of the dispatch-tracking Nr etc nor copy of the refund (although I asked it more than twice) and wonder am I so unlucky or is Anthony such person when I read all the good comments for him?

I put your credit through personally and by the way there is NO PROOF because the USPS has no way to track packages once it goes into your countries shipping department. I've gone over this several times with you. I shipped an intercooler to your country and you never got it so I lost an intercooler and gave you a credit. What more do you want from me? Another intercooler?

No offence Anthony just asked you a copy of the credit in order to search where the money went!
It's alarming and very rare, this time lost - not parts - but money and I think this is also bad for you, or isn't?
Are you sure you deposit the money to my account and not other's?
Are you sure you saw my name on credit?
Please send me a copy and I'll investigate it myself!
JIM

By the way I never asked you a new I/C, when you say "and by the way there is NO PROOF because the USPS has no way to track packages once it goes into your countries shipping department" what you mean (?), we talk about money and you refer again to lost packages!
Did you send me the money with post?
I mention you have NEVER sent me a copy of the shipping or other documents you refer to, and ONLY you have!
Bear in mind I talk for what I can prove, I have all the e-mails we send each other copy of my credit card statement etc, you never show me any proof that you sent me the I/C nor the money and you support your claims only with words.
It's very bad when you loose money but even worse when you feel deceived; I am thousand miles away and canít do many thinks for this case even my English as all people understand do not help me!

The only proof I have of shipment is a receipt that I paid for it to go to your country. It has not helped me here nor will it help you there.

Your credit was sent to your account and this case is closed. I am no longer shipping overseas via USPS for this reason. I tried to save you money by shipping USPS, but lost out big in the long run.

This is not the place for this...e-mail me if you have any more problems.

A vendor can run a credit today and it only shows up in your account when your credit card company posts it- it can be that day, 30 days, 3 months. I deal with that all the time (I'm 1/2 of Subaruwrxparts.com).
