The fact that Anthony Sr. is now involved is very promising to all the folks who have been screwed by Anthony Jr. and his shady business practices.
I'd have to guess that dad stepped in once Jr. came clean about how badly he f'd his business up. Dad probably co-signed on the start up loan or something like that...

After reading the reviews I had some doubts but I also feel there is always two sides to every story. I can't make judgments on other peoples experiences as they are not my own. With that in mind I called Mauro to check on price and availability of the parts I was seeking. I talked with Anthony (jr sr?) who informed me that all the parts were in stock but that he showed only one Invidia DP left. The order was placed and my account was charged the next day. On the second day he called and stated that in fact the DP was gone and gave me some options. I called back after thinking about it and went with the Cobb DP that was in stock. He agreed to back out the charge for the Invidia.
A day or two later I received emails with tracking numbers. The first order was placed on 3/26 and I received the final parts on 4/3. During that time I received at least two calls from Anthony keeping me informed of updated tracking numbers. From THIS experience I would do business with them again. The proper treatment you recieved really doesn't surprise me. the mauro's seem to have made the decision to try and salvage their reputation/business, rather than go the bankrupcy route and face numerous lawsuits etc...
I can't think of a better way to begin the rebuilding process than actually treating customers in an upfront, honest fashion. Now how about doing the same for me, Anthony, and returning my $1975. After 16 months, isn't it time to make things right? |

i've emailed you multiple times, and sent alot of pm's on multiple forums. I really don't want to use legal action against you please get back to me before i am forced to. this has just been rediculous that i cant even get a response or update from u in so many months. |

I don't think they read this thread very often. Your best bet is to do what I did and call them 5 times a day, every single day, until someone picks up..

Any word on these guys? They seem to have a lot of people's money still and haven't delivered. I'm pretty sure I'm out the money I've given them. Stay away from these guys, they have no idea what they're doing to run a business. They're well stocked on promises and excuses, but poorly stocked on parts and service. Unfortunately, I tried to purchase the latter.

i just recieved a $1975 check from Anthony's dad. He stepped in and is fixing the mess.
you may want to email him personally at <mauro@mauromotorsports.com> what I really want to know is: what's little anthony's punishment for going into thousands of dollars worth of debt. I'm sure that would be a good story. |

Kudos to Anthony Sr. - finally I can believe it when I hear "Anthony is a stand up guy", Anthony Sr. that is. As soon as I spoke with him, he was in the process of sending my refund. After almost two years of hell trying to contact Anthony Jr. or his co-hort greg, I now have my refund of $1764. Now that Anthony Sr. is an active part of the company, I can only guess that his business will once again thrive, and that customer care will be a priority!

I got my money back from mauros placing a complain with my cc holder.No parts,no money.
Hell,I live in Costa Rica most of the year and the consumer protection laws here suck,so if i got my money back in my account at once,i dont see how you guys cant do the same up in U.S.The only way mauros can and will get the money of your purchase back in his account ,is by proving he sended your parts and not only with a tracking number,he actually has to prove what was in the package .How t ..hell is he going to come up with that.Dont try to be nice to someone whos triying to still your money.Even if you dont have aditional insurance on your cc they will refund your money.Just try this and go on . Is nice than Mauros Sr. is fixing some of the problems ,so if i was u,i ll write him once ,give it a week,and if no solid solution is given,just get nasty,call your cc holder and get your money back.On the long run they will get Mauros.....he had it coming anyways. To Anyone at Mauros,Greg,Anthony,i dont care who,dont even try to upsed me posting back some jiri jara bs about me,i dont care about what u have to say.I got my money back DIDNT I ![]() |

i wish i saw this....doh...they got money of mine, and i have nothing i ordered, i expected an email about my order since they charged my credit card on dec. 20th, and i have nothing yet(i know its the holidays but they are a business)

I have received everything I ordered and at the approximate dates they gave me. Try contacting them. I do not know what they promissed you ect. but I have never had any problems.

well i wrote a few emails to SALES and TRACKING just the other day, and no response, maybe i expect to much from a company(like they should check their email a few times a day) but any way, i never got any emails back, so i wrote one to mauro@mauromotorsports last night. to say the least, i received an email back today, and was told it would be shipped tomorrow with a tracking number. i ordered the part last week and i wasnt expect it to be here by xmas or anything, i just would have liked to been kept up to date on my order thats all. but its supposed to be shipped tomorrow
