I bought the front kit from them with the fog lights.
Paid over $1K with shipping.
The kit was not complete and the bumper cover was received damaged.
The wiring harness was missing connectors to the foglights.
Not quiet plug and play.
Had to have a friend make an aftermarket wiring kit work with it.

Honestly I think sourcing the parts individually from subarugenuineparts.com would be your best bet. Email them and Jamie can help you out. She is awesome.

I was wondering if you would know any place that sells the 2000-2001 = JDM sti version 6. front bumper skin and the lip to go with it new.

^ :-/ why jdm? its the same as USDM 99-01... just minus the lip. The v6 lip is something you should be able to use google and find. Not to mention they show up on here and RS25.com all of the time.

Quick + Dumb question, I have a 95' L Wagon and I'd like the 97+ headlamps, hood and grille. Can I get away with just putting those three on and leave the 95' bumper, bumper beam, corner lamps and fenders?

Didn't see it mentioned in the first few posts but does anyone know if the 2.5RS REAR bumpers are interchangeable between the coupe and sedan.

Looking at a JDM rear bumper right now and just wanna know if it'll fit my sedan.

i know this was posted a while ago, but yes, the sedan and the coupe rear bumper are they same, even the wagon (gf) rear bumper is the same according to the subi dealer

ok i have been reading through all this and just want to make sure that im correct to convert the front bumper on my 94 l i get a v5 bumper skin and light weight bumper hanger and ill be good to go or is there something im missing here

you can get a oem RS reinforcement bar, or modify your L bumper bar to get the V5/V6 bumper to fit.

don't forget you'll need turn signal lights

here's some info:

I bought the crystal headlights (99-01?) and a JDM V6 grill. The grill and headlights will bolt right in, but the hood won't latch shut, not to mention you won't be able to get the hood open.

I am currently running grillless, so the unflushness of the headlights and older Impreza (93-96) hood doesn't bother me.

I cut part of the grill off where the latch is, it will open now, but I can't get the hood all the way shut.
I am curious if I need a new hood.

Got it all figured out; the version 6 grill can work with the older hood.

Just stick a washer on each bolt on the hood latch and it will lower it enough to hook up.

Does anyone know if the bumper off an '00 or earlier RS will fit on a 98 wagon? I've heard it won't fit on the newer ones but i can't find anything about the older imprezas.

so from my understanding, since i have a 1998 i will only be able to put on the v5 bumper, and it will look the same as the v6 but it wont have the holes to apply a lip?
