Have a Nice Day? Omori EGT Guage Wiring

Seller shipped me an EGT guage with all parts minus the wires that connect the temp sensor to the guage harness (part # P-240 for those in the know). I want to build my own solution, please help.

On the temp sensor side there are two snap plugs that I can get at radio shack. On the harness side there is a 4-pin plug that I'm planning to eliminate. What 2 pins, of the 4, correspond to the two snap plugs on the sensor side (both white, with red or blue stripe)? The pins continue on as orange, yellow, brown and blue wires.

Checked with Omori and they want $50 total after shipping and handling. Hence, my desire to roll my own.

Just curious on how you plan to eliminate the white snap into the back of the gauge plug?

Its not the gauge plug I'm eliminating. I'm eliminating one of the harness (OB) snaps.

Oh, and that plug will be replaced with two butt connectors.

Did you check with JSpec Tuning to see if they might have a cheaper solution for you? They're an auth. reseller for Omori and a NASIOC vendor. .....just a thought.

Hey man, I got the wiring for you:

Sensor side color -> Gauge side color

white/red -> orange

white/blue -> gray

The other two on the gauge side of the harness are unconnected.

Have fun!
