Default Defi-concept VSD Heads-up-Display problem

I cannot seem to get the speed to clibrate right anyone have some suggestions. Tach works great, but no speed readout. It only comes up with 88 and other numbers that are consistant diplayed once the car moves. So if I was going 5 mph it would say 88, if I was stopped it would say 0. Any help would be great.

I recalibrated the unit again and it now reads 11mph at any speed, exept 0. I was reading on Ravens Blade Impreza that our speed output sensor read at "0" and "5" consitant output. I was wondering if I might have tapped something to do with this and when it is calibrated from the setting of 2, 4, or 8, like in the Defi manual. Then it would probably read out in muliples of this? Anyone have this unit?

I have always had an interest in a HUD. I hate looking down during spirited driving. First where did you find that HUD? I have been looking everywhere for one.
I have used two after market Tach’s and Speedo’s from different manufacturers trying to get a HUD effect. The speedometer was always the hardest to get right. However for me it was a matter of reading the calibration directions carefully and then attempting it a number of times. Often ,for me, it was just a small thing I was doing wrong. If you PM me and then send me a scanned set of directions perhaps I can help.

Which one is that? The website specifically no boost...

or are you talking about the boost+TT product they have? They claim that the production of that product has ended (according to their website)

http://www.defi-shop.com/product/bt/bt_top.html

I'd like one that can expand to include other things down the road...
