Default How in the devil do you get the DEFI EGT probe to stay attached to the NPT fitting?

How in the devil do you get the DEFI EGT probe to stay attached to the NPT fitting? that is included with the kit ????? anyone out ther ehave any freeakdinasdkinfaskidnfasd IDEA ??

there is a fitting and a sleeve thing that goes in there. not sure of the correct names, but mine came with it and works perfectly.

The sleeve thing is a crush washer. When you tighten the upper flange to the lower flange it crushes said washer and holds the probe tight. DO NOT tighten the fitting before the install. Otherwise you will need to get a new crush washer.

you can however remove the entire assembly once crushed if need be. just make sure you wrench the fitting that is threaded into the manifold. my mechanic did this successfully when switching from my wrx to sti.
