Default Just got my new BAJA Turbo!!

Well, it is a done deal. I just picked her up today. I got a Mystic Blue Pearl 2.5L BAJA Turbo with every available option on it. It is a realy sweet car! I am loving it so far.... Plusthe fact that it is running a detuned STI engine! Ah yes, the experimentation in performance mods begins!!

So the W R X is gone ...

I will post some pics after it stops raining!

Adam

That car needs more than a white paint job to look good.

I had a regular Baja for a loner for 2 weeks, if it had a fold down rear like the Chevy Avalanche, I would have been sold.

Very fun to drive, very roomy and its not what everyone and their grandma drives *cough*WRX*cough*

I'd like to go to the drags some night with you and line up a Forester and a Baja and watch redneck heads explode from confusion

Well, got rid of the WRX, which looked like the job above, for this car. This is more daddy happy and my wifes likes it better than the WRX. This is important, cause if she is happy, I am happy.

Actually since the engine in the Turbo is a detuned USDM STI 2.5, I am going to start testing the fitting and performance modes for the STI on this!

I would love to take it to the track! That would be funny!

Oh yeah, and I happen to like the way the car looks, and that is all that matters. It is roomy, fast and full of every option available!

The engine stuff will fit, sadly because it's based on the Legacy Chassis you'll have problems finding any suspension upgrades.

So far everything for the STi or WRX has fit my Forester XT, with the exception of ECU.

suspension I am not worried about thus far..

DO you know if the intake manifold from a 2.0 EJ20 WRX will fit? STI Injectors stuff like that...

You would not by any chance have a list of stuff that has fit thus far that you know about?

Thanks
Adam

The rear suspension on the Baja is different, more of a strut/multi link combo set up. I'll have to take a peek at the next newer Legacy we get in the shop to compare.

As soon as a reflash comes out you will be set.

It uses the side feed injectors like the STi and XT 480cc. So the wrx, pink injectors 500cc(?) are a no go. If it fits on an STi its most likely going to fit on the xt, baja... motor wise at least.
