Default April 3rd autocross at michelin proving grounds, Laurens SC

Who all is going to this?

I'll be there but I can't compete due to my fractured arm.

Still, I heard there were 190 registered people!

Should be a lot of sweet cars....

Scott:

is there any displacement limit on STS for forced induction? I was wondering, b/c I noticed for STX it was 2.0L, but I didn't see anything for STS.....

I don't think there is any FI allowed. What car are you talking about?

PM Opie. I think he was trying to write a letter to get that car allowed in STS.

Yeah, I'm not sure... I've never seen a Legacy Turbo run at an Auto-x. Though, it sounds pretty reasonable to allow it considering the power is almost identical to the EJ25 in hp figures.

Let me know what you figure out... good question.

Yeah. I hope it wouldn't go straight from h-stock to f-street prepared.....

I think STS would be a reasonable middle ground. I noticed they have a list of about 5 or 6 allowed forced induction cars they would allow.....

Talking

Since I never reached the prep-level on the car for STS I never persued it...but I still think it's a valid arguement.

HS it is....then FSP, SM or EM

The Legacy turbo has about the same weight/power ratio as most of the list of allowed FI cars.....
